At what age should a child first see an orthodontist?
Many orthodontic problems are easier to guide while a child is still growing, so an early check-up is worthwhile if you notice crowding, crossbite, a protruding jaw or habits such as thumb-sucking. Early assessment does not always mean early treatment — it helps us choose the right time.
Am I too old for braces or aligners?
No. Orthodontic treatment is possible for adults as well as children and teens, provided your teeth and gums are healthy. Clear aligners and discreet braces are popular with adults.
What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is a clear aligner system: a series of custom-made, removable aligners that gradually move your teeth according to a digital treatment plan.
Which is better — Invisalign or braces?

Teeth have a natural tendency to drift after treatment. Retainers keep your corrected smile stable, which is why retention and follow-up are part of every treatment plan.
Is the iTero scan painful?
No. The iTero scanner captures a digital 3D model of your teeth without messy impression material, which most patients find more comfortable.
Do you treat jaw and bite problems in children?
Yes. In growing children we can guide jaw growth and correct bite problems such as crossbite, Class II (protrusive upper jaw) and Class III (protrusive lower jaw) with the right appliance at the right stage.
